Milwaukee Braves Uniform History


In 1953 the Boston Braves relocated to Milwaukee where they played until moving to Atlanta after the 1965 season.

1953-56

Horace Partridge

The team uses the 1952 style Boston jerseys but returns to zippers.

1957-62

The Indian logo is changed (it's missing from the 1957 home jersey shown here.) World Series jerseys have a different number font, without the bottom serif.

1963-64

The tomahawk is removed, piping changes to a single black line, and sleeve trim is removed. Jerseys get names on back. Buttons return.

NOB's are removed in 1965.
