1987-2004
The Braves overhaul their look with a return to button-down jerseys and a refresh of their traditional style introduced in 1946 when the team was in Boston and used through 1962 when the team was in Milwaukee. The main difference - this time the tomahawk is red, not black.

NOTE - The Braves wore navy Rawlings jerseys for spring training and batting practice 1987-92. From 1993-97, these navy jerseys were made by Russell Athletic and had year tags, which is not common for ST/BP jerseys. Probably because of the year tags, these jerseys show up for sale as "alternate" game jerseys. However I'm quite certain the Braves did NOT wear navy alternates during the regular season. After 1997 the navy ST/BP jerseys were lower quality shirts made by Majestic. Should anyone have better info, please let me know.
