New button-down jerseys debut, bringing back the script of the 1955-60 Kansas City Athletics. The HOF Database also shows white and green alternate pullovers - I've never seen one, if anyone has more info, let me know.

The Athletics bring back the elephant sleeve patch for the first time since 1960 when the team was in Kansas City.

1993
The first letters on both jerseys are modified - the "A" on the home gets a second serif, while a curl is added to the "O" on the road. Gold trim added to NOB on both jerseys. Sleeve patches change to an elephant holding bats with its trunk. An all-green road cap with a white logo debuts.

Green alternate introduced. Its sleeve patch is an elephant in sunglasses holding bats with its trunk. Logo on the road cap changes to gold.

MLB 125th anniversary sleeve patch on all 1994 jerseys.
1995-96
On home and road jerseys, the sleeve patch returns to elephant on a baseball, but the mat on the elephant's back changes from gold to white and the "A's" from green to gold.

Elephant patch removed from home jersey for the Oakland 30th anniversary patch. Jackie Robinson patches on right sleeve of all jerseys.

Patches celebrate 100 years of A's baseball, and a black alternate replaces green for one year. The black cap, worn only in 2000, remains an official alternate.
